'Love Live! Hasunosora Jogakuin School Idol Club' 3D Anime Movie Announced 1u3j

The 4th live concert of the Hasunosora Jogakuin School Idol Club (Hasunosora Girls' High School Idol Club) announced a 3D anime movie on Sunday.

Billed as the first virtual school idol project in the Love Live! franchise, the eight-member unit originates from the Link! Like! Love Live! smartphone app, which was released by ODD No. Inc. in April 2023. The unit released its first single, Dream Believers, in March 2023.

The Love Live! franchise launched in June 2010 with its first anime series, third season in Fall 2024.

They just wanted to try something new.
Nijigasaki with a trilogy movies. Superstar with three seasons and probably without any movie. And Hasunosora is an entirely new format/approach for them.

Idk how I feel about Love Live moving to 3d. The artstyle was one of the things that made Love Live stand out to me. Kinda feels like they're just chasing the wave of other successful 3d music anime like Bang Dream and Girls Band Cry, which is unnecessary because Love Live has always been successful as far as I'm aware. Will be watching it anyways, but I'm definitely skeptical.
