I think you should do it if you want to proofread the content and make sure its friendly and appropriate but at the same time, it would be hard for you to keep up, and as you say, might serve as a barrier so at first, just ask people if they can send you their reviews after making them, before they post them, and if you OK it, then they can post it.

That's true. Personally, I like reading review for small and unpopular series but I'm probably part of the minority when it comes to doing this, lol..x'D> I feel like you've made a valid point, and I would be curious to see how things go from here on out.

Regarding your questions in the last paragraph, I believe that making a thread where people can post their reviews is a good idea, but you would still need to moderate some things (proper netiquette, stopping posts that might lead to a fight within the club, etc.) but the parts you moderate can be minor, if you feel like delegating some works to other s and officers. As for my part, I leave club greetings to my officers for the manga club I run since that one is public, but I will do everything myself for my GIFt club since it's a private club and I mostly operate things on my own. I'll let the club comments alone as long as I don't see a fight in it, so there's not much to moderate (there was maybe one time in my manga club where I had to stop a fight and ban a member, but these things happen solemnly/very rarely). You can choose the model you see fit/working better for yourself though, no need to feel like you need to use one of the methods I talked about. It's your club and your choices to make, after all, but I hope it helps give you a direction as to what you need to do.

It depends on the number of manga readers in the club and the availability and interest in writing reviews among those people. I'll be fairly busy for a while so it would be hard for me to write reviews but I could come and check from time to time if you need the help getting set up and such.

From what I could see from the manga votes, a lot of s don't read the manga they vote so I don't know how successful it would be. Granted, I do read a lot of manga myself, but I'm only one person so I don't know how much that would go for.
